Israel 2009: London

We began our vacation with a 10-hour layover in London. Lucky for us, Daniel and Katie generously picked us up from the airport, made lunch for us, and showed us around.

Here, Katie and I are walking around her neighborhood.
I love the beautiful little houses, some of which were from the Victorian era. It looks normal here, but it was wonderful fuel for my steampunk fantasies.

Obliging my Anglophilia, we bought English tea and some English literature (Harry Potter). The tea shop:

When did Adam and I shrink to be so little? The distorted perspective makes it look like Alice in Wonderland in here, or maybe it's just my wishful thinking.

Daniel and Katie also took us to a park next to their house. The ducklings have just hatched and love is in the air.
We also visited a genuine asylum, where Daniel and Katie almost took up residence. (The asylum has been converted to become high-end condos. Daniel and Katie aren't crazy.)

We are all positive the place is haunted.

Would you want to walk these halls alone?

We are a bit disappointed that you wrote things like "maybe a real ghost"- Are you saying that some of the ghosts in London are fake????

Also, we think that you write beautiful literature. obviously Harry Potter's book had a real effect on your style :)
