As requested, here are a few more pictures of our puppy. Adam was a bit concerned after we received these, because our puppy seems to be smaller than all his littermates. Judge for yourself.
Regarding his name, Adam's new favorite is Apollo, while mine is Tolstoy. Neither of these are particularly appropriate, since Apollo is the god of light (our puppy is black) and Tolstoy is Russian (Newfoundlands are Canadian).
It might be nice to have a name that reflects the breed's love of water, like Triton, Ahab or Kraken, but nothing sounds right. We've both been rather picky over this so I'm hoping we'll recognize the Perfect Name when it appears.

You have so many names; you should have more than one dog.
Apollo was b e a u t i f u l. For sure your puppy is not the god of light, but still he can be beautiful enough to be Apollo.
Tolstoy sounds smart. Do you think he is more smart or more beautiful?

hehhehee, it took us forever to name our puppy too. We sat around for a whole day saying over 200 names out loud to see how it sounded :) Names are very important, after all... ;)
