Home Depot vs. Lowes
In preparation for the new puppy, Adam has been hard at work on our backyard. After several visits to Home Depot, Adam was in despair over the cost of building a retaining wall. So today we took a trip to Lowes and found exactly what we wanted for a third of the cost. Adam was very pleased indeed.

We also saw this strange cactus that looks a bit like a puppy itself. Maybe a distant relation to the Truffula Tree.
