Although today is Halloween, we basically had our holiday over the weekend. To begin, our pumpkin house was collapsing and full of mold. It was in such bad shape that we didn't dare to keep it after Saturday afternoon.
In fact, we're so done with Halloween that when trick-or-treaters came to the door earlier today, all I had for them were some candies that Adam brought home from his office. They look rather suspicious:
But they're still more appropriate and less suspicious than any of the other candies in the house:
On Saturday we dressed in costume and went to Studio 54 at the MGM Grand. Penny and I were the Fook Twins from Austin Powers: Goldmember. We won a costume contest (mostly because Penny's friends were running the contest).
Adam was a Death Eater from Harry Potter, which sounds simple, but was actually very complicated.
